Our buildings sit between Walmer Road and Tweedsmuir Avenue at St. Clair Avenue West. The driveway entrance is off Walmer, with walk-in entrances off both side streets. The nearby major streets are Spadina and Bathurst. The neighbourhood is Forest Hill, one of the most desirable residential areas in the city.

The St. Clair West streetcar runs east-west at the bottom of the block, as does the Forest Hill bus. There are entrances to the St. Clair West subway stop a half block away on both St. Clair and Heath.

There is a Loblaws grocery a half block away and substantial retail shopping and conveniences west along St. Clair. There is some convenient retail around the corner in Forest Hill Village on Spadina north of St. Clair.

There are many parks in the area, in part due to easy access to the city’s ravine network. The Winston Churchill Park at Spadina and St. Clair sits atop the area’s reservoir and contains several tennis courts.

400 Walmer itself has many amenities including underground tenant parking, visitor parking, retail spaces, swimming pool and sun deck, BBQ grills, sauna, weight room, workout room with stationary bikes and treadmills, laundry rooms, and library. There are plantings around the property and a seating area with table.

Many of the tenants have moved here from private homes in the Forest Hill area and have been friends and acquaintances previously. Many tenants have been residing at 400 Walmer for a long time. This familiarity is likely a foundation for the community feeling among tenants in the buildings.
